8:50 - 9:15 AM Keynote Address: Bill Kurtis, television journalist and program host, Bill will illuminate the grassfed beef landscape from the perspective of a believer turned investor. Come prepared to be inspired!

9:15 - 10:45 Dr. Richard Diven: The fundamentals of the low input production model, and the type of cow that can actually excel in this type of system. (Hint: She is also the cow whose offspring can and will finish on grass.)

11:00 - Noon Display Pens/Exhibitor's Booths. Ultrasounding, interaction with breeders/cattle, pen-side discussions

12:00 - 12:40 Lunch

12:45 - 2:00 Dr. Allen Williams: Why the correct cattle genetics are the engine that drives your grassfed beef operation while improving your bottom line.

9:00 - 10:30 Dr. Tilak Dhiman. Conjugated Linoleic Acid: A CLA primer for producers and consumers and the role of the ruminant diet in CLA production. Also a survey of CLA-friendly feed supplements.

12:45 - 2 PM Terry Gompert: Growing and managing pastures that will finish beeves (the right kind, of course!) on forage alone.
